As a therapist, my mission is to support individuals during challenging times, and to bear witness to their resilience and strength as they overcome those hurdles. Life is full of unplanned and unexpected journeys that we do not have to be ready or equipped to face on our own. Together we can address those barriers, life transitions, relationship struggles and any stressors impacting your daily functioning. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space that fosters personal growth, curiosity, and healing. I have experience working with an array of diverse cultures, communities and age groups. Most recently I was in a healthcare/hospital setting aiding individuals and families facing chronic illness/acute medical crises and providing end of life support. I have also worked with adolescents and families involved with the criminal justice system, overcoming significant trauma and substance use. Given my training and experiences, my areas of focus are stress and anxiety, life transitions, trauma, depression, relationship distress, grief and self-exploration. I utilize an integrative approach, drawing from numerous evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Additionally, I operate through a strengths-based, trauma informed lens, recognizing and acknowledging how adverse experiences significantly impact individuals and can shape the way we interact with the world. Managing your mental well-being is equally as important as maintaining your physical health. It would be an honor and privilege to join you for the therapeutic process, navigating the uncharted path, wherever it may lead.
